Week 9 Student-Athlete of the Week: Darlington’s Myles Twyman

Myles Twyman, a senior running back/defensive back at Darlington School, has been named the scoutSMART Student-Athlete of the Week. Twyman, a three-time letterman with a 4.2 GPA, exemplifies excellence on the field, in the classroom and throughout his community. He has rushed for 564 yards and seven touchdowns this season. Twyman’s honors and community involvement include the National Honor Society (2025), Football Academic Award, E.L. Wright Scholastic Honor Award (2024) , EMERGE High School Leadership Rome (2024), Drummer, Lovejoy Baptist Church Drum Ensemble (2015–present) and Community Kitchen Server (2012–present). “Myles is one of the best young men I have ever coached,” Darlington head coach Wayne Groves said. “He embodies great leadership qualities and has a heart of gold. He truly cares about his school, his teammates, and his coaches – and has turned into a very good football player.”
