Week 6 Team of the Week: Jenkins

Jenkins and Calvary Day might’ve become Savannah’s best football rivalry.

The 2024 game went to overtime, with Calvary Day winning 34-31 and claiming the Region 3-3A title as a result.

Head coach Tony Welch and the Jenkins seniors were joined by Dom Demassi of BSN Sports for the presentation of GHSF Daily’s Team of the Week award after their victory over Calvary Day in a crucial Region 3-3A victory.

Last week, it was Jenkins’ turn. The Warriors won 41-33 and now stand alone atop the Region 3 standings.

A region title would be Jenkins’ first since 2019 – when Calvary Day’s current coach, Jason Cameron, was Jenkins’ coach.
