Peachtree Sports Network to televise football, basketball games next week

The Drive for the GHSA State Title will televise a GHSA semifinal football game next Friday, beginning with a pregame show at 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday will present the first Corky Kell + Dave Hunter Basketball Classic beginning at 11 a.m. at Norcross High School.

The semifinal football game will be announced this Saturday.

The Peachtree Sports Network will televise a Class 7A quarterfinal blockbuster this week as Walton travels to Carrollton. The pregame on Friday will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The basketball matchups will feature Brookwood vs. River Ridge (girls) at 11 a.m. in a meeting of reigning Class 7A and 6A champions. The 12:45 p.m. game will feature Lanier vs. West Forsyth (boys) followed by Norcross vs. Baldwin (girls), both finalists in their respective classes last season. The finale will feature Norcross vs. Douglass (boys), both of which reached the semifinals last year.
