Longest active streaks of postseason appearances

Marist extended its streak of postseason appearances to 43 this season. Marist and Peach County are the only schools that have made the playoffs every year since 1996, when the GHSA went to 32-team draws from 16. Peach County has the longer state-playoff streak, dating to 1991, but Marist made postseason region playoffs in 1994, extending its postseason streak that started in 1983. The region playoff was the equivalent of what is now a round-of-32 game, but at the time it was a play-in postseason game to the 16-team state playoffs.
