1. What do you bring to your team on and off the field? “I'd say on the field, my aggressive style of play. I'd say my toughness and speed is definitely what makes me stand out, for sure. Then just off the field being a leader and always trying to pick people up, pushing people to do some things outside of their box that they’re not so comfortable doing.”
2. What made staying in state and committing to the University of Georgia the right pick for you? “I’d just say it was a family decision. Obviously, it was the best fit for me and my family. They are the best team there is. There’s really no other way to put it. I want to go play for the best program, play against and with the best players in the country and obviously win a national championship.”
3. What's it going to take this year to turn playoff success into a championship? “I’d just say a lot of people stepping up. There's been past years where seniors were not too much of leaders here, but I think we’ve got the team this year with a bunch of leaders on it. So just people stepping up, filling in spots when people go down or injured and just keeping our foot on the gas.”
4. What does this Cartersville program mean to you now that you're in your final season of high school? “It means a lot to me. I didn't grow up in Cartersville, but even just coming and transferring over here [from a Paulding County school] for my eighth-grade season, it's home. I love everything about it. The community, the coaching staff, just how everyone really revolves around Cartersville football means a lot for sure. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.”
