Week 10 Student-Athlete of the Week: Wheeler’s Marcus Romain

Marcus Romain, a senior quarterback at Wheeler, is the scoutSMART Student-Athlete of the Week. Romain, who has a 4.18 GPA, has passed for 519 yards and rushed for 412 yards this season despite being limited to six games because of an injury. Romain also is a member of the school’s track team. He has offers from a number of universities and is committed to playing football at Northwestern. "Marcus is a tremendous student-athlete that has excelled in the classroom with a 4.18 GPA,” Wheeler head coach Bryan Love said. “He performs well on the football field along with participating on the track team.”
